Lake Norman is the largest manmade body of freshwater in North Carolina. It's surface area covers more than 32,475 acres. The shores of Lake Norman border Iredell and Mecklenburg counties to the East and Catawba and Lincoln counties to the west.
The lake offers many recreational opportunities for area residents including boating, fishing, jet skiing, sailing, wake boarding,, sunbathing and swimming. You can live in a waterfront home or your enjoy the lake via one of the many parks or public boat ramps. The mild climate allows area residents to enjoy the lake year round.
